Swiss Government Funding Under Scrutiny

Jews United initiated a transparency investigation into Swiss government funding of archaeological, cultural and civil-society projects in Israel and Judea and Samaria.

A detailed information request was prepared for the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, seeking disclosure of grant recipients, funding amounts, due-diligence procedures and safeguards for Jewish heritage sites.

The investigation also seeks to establish whether Swiss funding is distributed fairly between organisations preserving Jewish historical heritage and those opposing or challenging such initiatives.

Our objective is to ensure transparency, impartiality and accountability in the use of Swiss public funds.
