Promoting Accountability in Community Support Organisations

Jews United is examining concerns raised about safeguarding practices, professional assessments, service delivery and the treatment of individuals and families by charitable and community organisations.

Our work includes gathering evidence, reviewing public funding and governance arrangements, and considering the responsibilities of organisations entrusted with supporting vulnerable people.

We seek fair procedures, independent scrutiny and effective accountability, while recognising the importance of safeguarding confidentiality, due process and the right of organisations to respond to concerns.
